Google Internet Summit 2009: The State of the Internet May 5, 2009 Google Internet Summit 2009 network and session statistics. Panelists for this session Alan Mauldin, Tom Leighton, Stuart Stephen, and Greg Chesson. 5 and 6 May 2009, in Mountain View, we have put together Googlers and managers from academia and the business world for a two-day summit on the state of the global Internet to discuss. The aim of the summit was to gather a broad spectrum of knowledge about the future of GooglePlans - from product development and market communication, user expectations and the ability to reach the Internet, keep it open yet secure. More than 30 speakers and moderators in the debates around eight themes: networks, sensors and wireless standards, security, applications, democracy, law, policy and regulation, research and cloud computing and the future. Eric Schmidt, who offered some remarks, expressed his optimism that the challenges we have with the governments of access' to face foreclosure InternetAnd 'technically the development of networks transparent, scalable, and open to overcome.
